App terms of use
These terms apply to use of the Shadow Tales Android application.
01 / USE
Shadow Tales is a small reading app for short mystery stories and cinematic artwork. Use it for personal, non-commercial reading and for sharing the story summary through the built-in share action.
02 / CONTENT
Stories and artwork may be AI-generated. Content is provided as atmospheric fiction and should not be treated as factual, legal, medical, or safety guidance.
03 / CONTENT AND UPDATES
Five stories are available without Premium. Premium unlocks the complete library bundled with the installed app version. New mysteries are added every week with no fixed end date. Stories remain bundled for offline reading; future weekly releases are delivered in app updates.
04 / RIGHTS
The stories, artwork, app design, and app assets are provided as part of Shadow Tales. Except for the built-in summary-sharing action or rights allowed by applicable law, no permission is granted to copy, redistribute, or commercially reuse app content.
05 / MATURE THEMES
Some stories include suspense, horror, crime, or unsettling themes. Reader discretion is advised.
06 / AVAILABILITY
The app works offline with bundled content. Subscription access can continue for up to seven days after the last successful Google Play verification; after that, Google Play must verify an active subscription again. Lifetime access remains available offline unless Google Play successfully reports the purchase absent.
07 / PURCHASES AND RENEWALS
Google Play processes Premium purchases. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the price and billing period shown by Google Play unless canceled before renewal. Any free trial and post-trial billing terms are shown by Google Play before purchase. Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase for access to the Premium content made available in this app.
08 / CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Manage or cancel a subscription through Google Play. After cancellation, subscription access generally continues through the paid billing period. Refund eligibility and processing are governed by Google Play policies and applicable law.
